Coldbit Hex lets you backup your wallet seed words on a hexagonal (6 side) metal rod.
Compared to Coldbit Steel the Hex has a smaller form factor and the same extreme durability. It's made of a 13mm (0.5") steel or titanium hexagonal rod. It allows to backup and store up to 24 mnemonic words for decades safely enclosed in a perfectly fitting brass tube.
Stainless steel (AISI 304) and titanium are extremely durable and can withstand extreme environmental conditions. Both metals are extremely durable and can withstand fire, flood, electric shocks and very strong acids.
The rod has 6 sides and each side holds 4 words.
It comes with a jig that fits the rod perfectly and makes the stamping process much easier and safer.
